Andrew “Andy” Kirchner was born on the Caribbean island of Curaçao but spent years living in The Netherlands before returning home. Apart from being a Social Worker, Andy fed his adventurous spirit by working as a Salsa Teacher, a Poet, a Balloon Entertainer, and as a Tourist Guide and Dive Instructor. After a drastic, life-changing event in 2012, Andy had to learn how to live again. He needed to face many ugly truths and use past experiences to rebuild his life to become The Recycled Pirate. Today, Andy is an often-asked public speaker, a holistic lifestyle and personal development coach and a self-proclaimed yogi. He teaches Mindfulness methods by a non-conformist as a Pirate who recycled his own life.
